Hey! I'm Mary - Nutrition nerd, Crossfit Coach, mom of two little ones, and passionate goal-getter.
Fitness and Nutrition are my passion. With over a decade as a Personal Trainer, Crossfit Coach, and Nutrition Coach, combined with personal experience in discovering how to achieve my own goals without sacrifice, I've helped hundreds of people live healthier, happier, stronger lives while loving the process.
To change the way people view fitness and nutrition, break through mental and physical barriers holding them back, and become the best version of themselves.
After struggling with disordered eating and yo-yo dieting for years, I began personal training in 2013 with the goals of helping people form healthy relationships with food, training, and their body. I've since worked with hundreds of people in person and online all over the world.
My biggest motivation is you, your goals, and helping you achieve them without restriction.
Born and raised in a small, one-light town in Tennessee, I was constantly outside exploring our neighborhood, skateboarding with my older brother, or finding something else to get in to. I dabbled in different sports, band, and found love in horseback riding.
A pivotal moment for me was standing in line to ride a rollercoaster when I was 10 years old, looking up at my dad, and him saying, "Do one thing every day that scares you."
I've lived by that motto ever since.
I'm a mom of two and military wife. Life takes us all over the country and world. The way I look at it, it's an opportunity to meet new people and experience new locations.
HOW I GOT HERE
Like many, my health & fitness journey has been full of ups and downs. I started taking my health more seriously in high school. I dropped the daily sodas, started counting calories, and began going to the gym every morning with my mom and a friend.
I started seeing results and chasing more of them. What began as cleaning up my diet became extreme calorie counting and eventually snowballed into an eating disorder by the time I left for college.
For years I struggled with restrictive eating, yo-yo dieting, and trying to find a balance between fitness and life.
There's an incredible silver lining to it all, though.
Eventually, I learned the magic of properly fueling my body. Where I was once convinced the only way I could see results was through extreme measures, I learned how to make nutrition work for me and began shedding fat eating more than I ever had before.
I began appreciating my body for what it can do rather than what it looked like, and transformed my entire outlook on fitness.
I found a passion for fitness and nutrition, and can share that passion from a place of knowing what it's like to feel stuck, frustrated, and overwhelmed.
My journey led me to graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science from Auburn University, becoming a certified Personal Trainer, CrossFit Coach, and a WAG certified Nutrition Coach.
Today I help people all over the world feel the best they ever have and achieve the results they want without the sacrifices they don't.
Having the opportunity to change just one person's life makes my roller coaster of a journey worth it.
